Unit V: Technologies in Teaching Accountancy.

Technologies plays a vital role in accountancy to prepare financial statements. Among those MS-EXCEL is commonly used in globally. In this chapter we learned how to use excel formulas to prepare payroll financial analysis, use of graphics in comminating information.

We as a teacher its not enough to focused only on text book knowledge but also we have to explore on some of other excel function mostly used in accounting system. Other computer software used in accounting.
Due to development of a technology i think excel is not only enough for accounting because using excel is time consuming therefore i think it will be better if education system can introduce or we can teach tally prime to students and also RBW which is commonly used in India and some of the private business in Bhutan.
